Shrewsbury

I just can’t begin to describe how happy it makes me to bake the Shrewsbury. I simply call it the ‘king of cookies’ as I feel nothing beats the taste. From the neighborhood kids, my friends to my family, everyone just loves the Shrewsbury biscuits. Hope you enjoy baking this, too.

2. Now, start adding the plain flour and baking powder to this butter-sugar mixture. Remember to fold gently and not use a beater for this. You would get a smooth soft dough. It tool me roughly 5 minutes to put it together.

3. Roll out the dough and cut out the desired shape. Ready to go into the oven for 20-25 minutes. The thickness of Shrewsbury biscuit decides the baking time, actually. If you have rolled the dough thinner, you would not need more than 10-12 minutes to get them ready.
